Not really -- time just got away from me.  I hate it when that happens!!

When I mentally click off the list of what I've been doing for the past month, I haven't been doing that much.  Working, editing, writing, spending time with Carter, Travis and Linda (T's mother), reading.

Speaking of reading, I recently read How to Kill a Rock Star  by Tiffanie DeBartolo.  Saundra, you've got to read it! (Well, all of the 3 people that read this blog have got to read it).  I was skeptical because it's billed as chick lit and I don't read much chick lit because....well, no use getting into what I think encompasses the entire genre of chick lit...but HTKARS is deep chick lit, chick lit with a soul.  What really hooked me?  Wildfire is mentioned on the first page.  Okay, so it's technically not mentioned by name because there's copyright issues but the sub-text is there.  Dead horse.  Dead girl.  Lonely boy.  Wildfire.  I kept reading and finished it the next afternoon. 

On that note, I'm up to #12 on my 50 Book Pledge and am working on #13 (Lover Eternal by J. R. Ward).
